Welcome!
My name’s Nova Sutton, I started Obsessless Therapy which is an online OCD therapy space, to help others with OCD find practical, evidence-based support.
like many of the people I support, I once found myself trapped in cycles of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours that felt impossible to break.
OCD was more than an inconvenience; it felt like it shaped my decisions, relationships, and sense of self.
The turning point came when I began structured, evidence-based treatment.
Approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) didn’t just offer coping strategies; they reshaped how I understood my thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
It wasn’t an overnight fix, but over time, these practices helped me reclaim parts of my life that OCD had taken up so much space in.
My recovery journey is what led me here to help others who may be living with the same patterns of doubt, fear, and exhaustion.
I know how relentless these experiences can feel, and I am here to walk alongside you as you find your own path forward.

My Therapeutic Approach
Today, my work is grounded in the same scientifically supported frameworks that helped me in my recovery.
I’m a qualified CBT therapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I follow their ethical guidelines in my practice.

My primary focus is on helping clients identify the cognitive distortions in OCD that fuel distress.
Things like catastrophic thinking, inflated responsibility, or the belief that thoughts and actions are morally equivalent.
By working collaboratively, we learn to notice these patterns, respond differently, and gradually build tolerance for uncertainty.
